The New Steam Community undoubtedly all of you have seen it by now. I'm making this thread for two reasons. So without further ado..... 1. Poll/Question - Do you like the new update? Yes or No? Why? 2. Should a group be created for each Fishtank Clan? This would make it very easy to see and manage members in clans. Plus it would give us a little bit more promotion as a clan as a whole. Either way just asking everyone.... my views: 1. Yes However it needs improvements. Lots of them... 2. Definitely I like the idea of being able to message everyone in the clan and see who is online and shit even if they don't have Xfire. Thanx in advance! |

1. yes but the chat option was really laggy for me. however i only used it once so i don't know if it is still like that. 2. im not in the clan

1: it is much more inconvenient. Yes it is more personable but to add friends and navigate it is a pain. I was playing with a pro cal player and wanted to add him, but SC(steam community) doesn't tell you the players in game name, just the acct name.... i liked the old one better. all they did was make a complicated program to preform an easy task, and that, my friend, is a bad match. 2: sure? |

1: update yes and no. Pro: harder to tell who's an admin for those cases you need to spec Con: harder to tell who's being an ass just for the sake of seeing how much they can get away with (IE regs) 2: I say yes, easy way to get more traffic, especially in those hours between 9-1 when no one is on but the few loan surfers. Probably only used as a promotion tool since i mean most updates and stuff can be handled here in the website |

1: Yes, but it's too laggy when I'm in-game and someone messages me I die because I'm in battle and I lag up, lol. The other friends didn't have that problem for me. I still like it better than the other because of the customization and chat groups where you can have like 3 players talking to each other in one chat box (like xfire). But it's still a little bit annoying. Overall I still like it than the other. I also agree with swift that it needs a lot of improvements. 2: Yes, not everyone uses xfire regularly (sadly,  ) so even though they aren't online on xfire they could still be on steam, and we all use steam for CSS. I think it's a good idea.P.S. - We have a clan group for xfire too. |

I have a mac next to my PC which I use for IMs. Don't really need xfire. thanks though. |
